DLO Norman North Patient Service Center

I did my labs at this location last week and I was called back by Amy and she had the best bedside manner. She was kind and just kept me so calm during my draw. She is absolutely wonderful at her job, so gentle I didn’t even feel the stick. I will never use another location. Thank you Amy for being so wonderful!

We have to visit this DLO lab on a regular basis, due to my husband’s illness, but Chelsea at the Norman North location makes the experience so pleasant!! She remembers us every time we’re in, and is so kind to him. She’s also extremely good at her job! We’ve been to more labs than we can count, but this one is the best by far. Chelsea is a huge part of that !! Thank you for making an unpleasant situation easier on both of us !!

Came on a Thursday around lunch time for my 1yr old to have blood drawn.The wait time was so long...The waitlist on the monitor is unreliable because the expected wait time doesnt get updated and even becomes longer. So maybe they are short-staffed, but they still took a long time.Not a very baby-friendly lab because baby is screaming and they needed more than one person to hold babys arm while slowly drawing blood.Staff is nice and doing their best though.

A few weeks ago I made an appt online for some labs/tests. I have recently returned from a stint in the Peace Corps and they gave me an authorization to have some specific tests done to make sure I didnt contract anything while overseas. DLO was listed as an eligible provider on the search.When I arrived, the tech was all confused. We dont have Peace Corps as a payor. I explained the payor was through Intl Medical Group, and the First Health Network PPO. She brought in a supervisor who repeated they didnt have Peace Corps in their system, didnt know who to contact or bill and wanted to know why the labs were being done. I explained again. She said Id need to get more info.I left, and later discovered there was both a phone number and an email address on the authorization form re: who to contact with questions, so I highlighted those and made another appointment. When I went back, I was given the same run around. I patiently explained again and pointed out the highlighted areas re: who to contact with questions/for payment. They were still confused as to what the rationale / diagnoses was for the tests. I explained again. Finally, the tech said she would keep the form, check it out, and then call/contact me. This was nearly two weeks ago. I havent heard anything back. Very disappointing. Clearly this place only cares about being paid and not actually helping folks. :(

I’ve had my blood drawn a few times at this location. My tech was Amy and she was so friendly. I will always use this location and ask for her every time.This facility is really clean and welcoming.

Great place to go for your lab work needs! I have been going here for a few years now and just love them! The check in process is quick and easy and I rarely have to wait too long. The facility is clean and well organized and they always treat you with kindness and caring attitudes. There is one lady that always seems to get me and I cant remember her name, but more than once she has gone above and beyond to help me in getting orders that seem to go missing or what ever I may need. They are great at their jobs and are amazing at sticking you without having to do it multiple times or causing pain. Would highly recommend them and I travel from Midwest City to have them stick me here!!

Amy H. is always kind, professional and gentle with me. This location is by far the best I’ve experienced. It’s super clean, never wait long. It’s my go to choice for all my lab visits. They also take the lab card if your insurance requires you to use it.

Andi was my lab tech and all my labs had not come across the system but thankfully my nurse called while I was there and Andi went through the list with her. Andi was able to get all the tests confirmed which saved me a trip into OKC. Andi was patient and kind during this process. I highly recommend this location.

We try to avoid using any DLO but some doctors require it. If you have to use DLO do not use the one on 24th Ave. We have given them 3 attempts and each time its pure incompetence. The location on Tecumseh is faster, polite, and seem more knowledgeable.

I love this location. Amy is the only tech I will use, she’s quick and painless.This facility is very clean and everyone is friendly.

This is by far the best lab we have gone to. All of the phlebotomists are great, especially Chelsea!

Needed routine labs done, stopped in. Chelsea was able to get my blood drawn fast and painlessly and I was on my way!

Took my daughter to this location for some blood work. Amy assisted us and made my daughter feel at ease...she had never had blood work done before, and Amy was so easy and talked to my daughter to make sure she was comfortable. This location is very nice and clean, and staff is very professional! We will always come back to this DLO location and use Amy every time!

Amy was extremely professional; completed bloodwork in record time; very pleasant and compassionate. I highly recommend Amy!

Andre or Andrea ( can’t remember which) is truly a gem. I’m a difficult stick and had to come two days in a row and she was beautiful and patient with me. I will never get labs with anyone else but her! So please give her a raise

Amazing and friendly!!! Leslie was so efficient and kind with my special needs dtr. This will be our forever go to DLO from now on!!!!!!

One of the few DLOs open on Saturday mornings. Very convenient. No need to use valuable sick leave at work. And the last few blood draws were painless. Im a big man baby, so take my word for it.

My phlebotomist was Amy. She did a great job doing my blood draw. Never felt the needle go in or when she took it out. Never even had a bruise! It was very clean inside and people were friendly...

This is for Kim Walker. We arrived in okc on Wednesday the 7th. We had Amy Harness as the phlebotomist. She was so great to work with. She helped us with an out of state order and it was ready for us when we arrived in town. She was so gentle with the blood draw. There were no bruises and no bleeding after the draw. Amy had a wonderful attitude and if we ever come back here she will be the one we will ask for.

Had to get my drawn today Hailey took my blood. She was quick and efficient. Very patient. I want to thank her for going above and beyond to get my orders faxed in. I will continue to use this site for my next blood draw.

I came for my 3 hour glucose test, ondre and amy are very wonderful and very easy at the sticking process.. I loved everybody here!! Would definitely recommend this location!!

The ladies here are amazing! They are so kind and professional. The place is clean and never have I had to wait too long to be seen here. I witnessed them helping another patient today and was overwelmed w emotions! They were so helpful n sweet to the woman and I thought wow, there are kind people in this world

Awful and disorganized. The form they sent me for my testing clearly identified pre employment drug screen hours as 7:30-3. I showed up at 7:15, checked in, and waited 30 minutes for my name to be called. When I went back, I told her what I was there for. She said we dont do that till 8. I told her about the time listed on the sheet literally sent from their lab and she said, yeah we dont do those till 8. And repeated herself like 3 times while I was trying to show her the email with the listed times. If I had known they didnt start till 8, Id have planned my day differently so as to not be 20 minutes late to work. Very frustrating.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Ondre. She did a great job when she drew my blood. I almost didnt feel a thing. That is very rare. Thank you Ondre!

I brought my therapy dog with me who is certified while my fiance was getting his blood work drawn .the tech came and told me unless she was a service dog she couldnt be here . She was very very rude and the other little man who was waiting even said something. She could have been nicer. I am in the medical field as well . I understand when patients need their therapy,service,or ESA,person. Just try to be more understanding. She wasn waiting in the waiting room not around the lab.

Dont use this lab! THE only reason there is ONE star is because NO stars wont allow me to post this !!! So subtract six stars to get my actual rating.They didnt get my blood work results to my cardiologist prior to my appointment, even though I had it drawn almost a week prior. When I used the location on Porter last year, it worked perfectly. This location was more convenient, but Ill never use this lab again. My doctors appointment was a waste of time and money, without having my lab results.

Savannah was amazing! I’ve never had someone as amazing as her. Didn’t even feel the stick. She was very personable and gave me perfect instructions for my labs and urine catch.

Unbelievable. Spent over two hours here with a two year old who needed an allergy blood test. Left with both arms stuck and NO blood drawn. No offer for a refund, no offer for other options, simply a sorry we did the best we could Parents, please note! There is no competency here for children. (and I might add, another nurse and I held her perfectly still while the 2nd nurse fished for a vein in both arms.)

They have always done very well drawing blood for my young children, which is no easy task. The staff has been kind, patient, and helpful. Also, the new facility is very nice.

Quick and efficient. No appointment needed. Technician was nice and friendly.Hours listed on website are incorrect. This clinic is closed noon to 1pm each day for lunch.Voicemail system is not professional. Sounds like a cheap answering machine used by someone at home. It needs to at least identify the business and state the hours. All this one says is, Hello. Please leave a message after the beep.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I took my 5mo old in for blood work and they dug the needle in both his arms for what felt like forever & wasn’t able to draw any blood. They advised me to come back another day & to make sure he is hydrated! He just had a bottle less than an hour ago. The problem was that they had no clue what they were doing. My poor son was screaming, literally screaming, in pain while they shoved the needle around in his arm!! Stay away from this place.

The staff is nice, did my labs in 10 minutes of waiting. I think some of the low reviews are people with issues and mostly dont follow instructions. Byee.

I can not understand why they can not get my lab order digitally, even thought I send it to they clarification department. There are some people that they dont own a printer. Wait 50 min to realize that it wont go through. Disappointing.

DLO’s sometimes get a bad rap. This place is clean, efficient, and friendly. In and out in 30 minutes with 3 people in front of me. Nurses were knowledgeable and no complaints from me!

No negatives. The staff is very nice, I never wait for long periods of time, and Ive never had a bad stick. They get me in and out pretty quickly.

This DLO is very bad on the communication. It took over an hour for them to inform us that there was an out standing bill due to an insurance issue. Then wanted us to wait another day to come back to take the test we had come in for. The staff here has no appropriate customer service to serve people they are very rude. I do not recommend this DLO location

I went in on a Saturday at 11am (they closed at 12pm) to get blood work. They were super nice and the whole process took maybe 10 minutes. They were great!

Sitting here now at 3:30 pm there is one person here doing check-ins and drawing blood and everything else. Why is she here alone? There is a full lobby waiting for assistance. This is unprofessional and unacceptable! Poor girl!

Location is perfect, with easy parking and access. Staff was professional. They got the samples without any problems. It was quick and easy.

Slowest lab ever, came in for a pre-employment urinalysis and waited an hour and a half with just four people ahead of me.

SO slow because they are just in the back nonstop gossiping and talking.
