Came in this morning as a walk-in for a one hour glucose tolerance test. It was a bit busy, but I only waited about 20 minutes before being taken back. The phlebotomist (I feel terrible I can’t remember her name) was great.Really liked the “pregnancy room” for the one hour wait. There were two recliners and a TV. I expected to have to go back out in the waiting room or sit in my car until my draw so this was a pleasant surprise.
Hailey and alecia were the best ever!!! Our daughter has autism and they were so kind patient and understanding with her
DLO Norman on Porter Avenue has a large parking lot, efficient staff and I was seen right away. On my first visit both of the buildings on the property were being painted. I could not tell which building had the DLO lab in it. I eventually figured out which bldg it was. This DLO is located in one of two separate professional medical buildings. The lobby is large. Patients must check themselves in. There was no receptionist when I visited. It was very easy to check myself in on the ipad. It asks basic questions: name, phone, and date of birth. I no sooner sat down then the phlebotomist (trained professional who draws blood) called me back. She did a great job drawing with barely a little pinch. She also took my credit card and I was given my receipt all in the same room. Very efficient. This was my first time to this DLO. I will return.Parking- patients can be dropped off at back of building and walk up steps or use two wheelchair ramps.
I highly recommend Kathrine! She is sweet, professional, and compassionate. Although I couldn’t have my labs drawn at the time I was there (not her fault!), she was wonderful to work with.
Every single time I come in here even if it’s just opened I wait almost an hour to be seen. They don’t have a receptionist and the staff in pharmacy are absolutely helpless. Asked if they could unlock a bathroom for me she literally said no you’ll have to ask the DLO receptionist which again there isn’t one lol! Extremely poor customer service….
Signed in, their system stated 3 minute wait time, another person came in (without appointment) and was taken before me. My 3 minute wait was almost 30 minutes. The kiosk is a joke and not accurate. The technician was great but their process not so much. I will take my business elsewhere next time.
The staff was skilled, prompt, and friendly. They did a fantastic job keeping my 2-year-old calm and even had him smiling about getting ice cream after the visit.
The staff at this location were very welcoming. Although it took a bit longer than usual to do a test than it should.I had just paid for and gotten my license switched to OK. Right now DPS is giving paper licenses out while you wait for your real one to come in the mail.I gave my license to the worker so she could get the information off of it. We got the whole process done and she gave me back my social but not my license. I failed to realize this until I was already gone and they had closed for the weekend. So I waited patiently til monday and called DLO and got a help line, I told the lady on the line to situation. She put me on hold while I assume she called the office I had visted. When she returned she quickly told me with an attitude that they dont have it and hung up before I could even say a word to her.My complaint has to do with the fact not only did I just pay nearly $50 to transfer states for my license but I had waited outside the DPS building for 5 hours before they opened ; but the fact that I know it was left there and the way she coped a attitude and hung up abruptly bids my low rating.Although the staff was friendly, it was not very profession. Both the office and the help line worker. Now I have to pay for a replacement and wait at the building again because they claim not to have it.2 out of 5 stars
I know that no one actually likes to have their blood drawn, so if you have to have it done, it would be nice to have it done well and the wonderful staff here does it well! From the desk staff to the phlebotomist, everyone is kind, caring, and professional. I am usually a very hard stick and they manage to do it as painlessly as possible. I also always ask to have the lab results sent to my home and they have the paperwork for me to fill out and I usually have those results in my mailbox within a week! So in all aspects they are great at what they do. They are respectful of your time and I usually am in and out of there in no time. They have great hours to accommodate most busy schedules and they are so kind and explain everything that they do. I highly recommend them.
We visited DLo Porter Road location for testing. After 25 minutes, we were told they needed a diagnosis on the prescription and couldnt complete the testing that day. We explained we lived an hour away and it would be difficult to come back soon due to work obligations. They called 3 days later and said we were all set. I told them we could make it back 3 days later but it would have to be quick because we would have to squeeze this lab work in between three different appointment times at different locations. They told me it would only take 15 minutes there and to let them know when I got there I was in a rush So they could get us back. I did. We waited 13 minutes before I went back to the desk and reminded them we were told this appointment would only take approximately 15 minutes. The lady told me it would and my son was next ON THE LIST. They call us back 5 minutes later. And once in the back--- they started filling out his paperwork. they didnt even have his insurance information in the system that we provided the week before. It took us 57 minutes instead of 15 minutes. Needless to say, I missed a scheduled appointment two blocks over. My advice is not to listen to the amount of time they tell you. Dont let them know you are in a hurry either because the clerk was RUDE. I thought we were getting excellent customer service and courtesy since they couldnt help us the week before. Obviously, that wasnt what we got. I would come back to this location because I believe I second chances, but I will make sure it is when I have plenty of time to spare.I rated them a 3 because of the Inconvienence and rudeness of front desk staff.
I wish I could give negative stars. I was supposed to drop off a post surgery specimen. They brought me back and their “fax machine was down” I sat in the waiting Room for over an hour. Did I mention I was just dropping something off. So I sat here for over an hour. This place is the worst. I’ll drive 45 mins to go to a different one in the future. I’m still sitting here with no signs of leaving anytime soon. I feel like I’m on a prank show.AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I received blood work from them in October and the technician reported to me that my insurance covered most of it minus about $100 which I paid at that visit. A month later they send me another bill. So I proceeded to call my insurance and my insurance reported that I don’t owe them a penny. I’ve called DLO and explained it to them and they refuse to listen so now I’m involved in disputing this claim via email. Horrible experience. Don’t go there! They will scam you!!
I was third in line and probably spent less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The woman who drew my blood did it completely painlessly, I didn’t even feel her remove the needle. She was kind but also efficient, the process only took about five minutes.
Very experienced! No pain with lab draws.Myself and family have been coming here for years. Thanks.
Ashley is the best! Im a baby when it comes to needles and she did amazing! Didnt feel a thing.
Anytime I have to do blood work here, they are always so fast and always get it on the first try! Plus they are really great about putting up with people who have a terrible fear of needles such as myself!
1 hour wait for simple drug screen (pee & go). Wasnt even a busy day either. I imagine 3+ hour wait if theyre busy...
I came here at 1:30 - 2:00 and they didnt have enough compassion for my situation. The lady who was helping me was saying things like she couldnt go home on time, pressuring me to make decisions that could affect my job. And it did. She wasnt very professional.
I do not recommend this location. They waited till close to tell me that their clarification dept could not respond to my lab order and I wasted 45 mins there when I could have been across the street at the hospital getting what I needed
Very disappointed in this lab. They told me it would take 40 minutes to verify my insurance as they do not work with Ortho Central. I asked if they knew of a lab that would work with them and she said you can call them to figure that out yourself, you are just rude. Horrible customer service!!! Very unprofessional!!
Kindness, compassion, and very friendly. Drawing blood was totally painless and quickly processed. Its the only lab I want as my go to.
Today, I’m deeply saddened. They turned my friend away and refused service because of how they identify. You shouldn’t refuse medical service to ANYONE. Disgusting. Do better.
I go here for a lot of my blood work and they are always kind and fast. Thank you.
The People there are great. Billing bites since they couldnt correctly bill my insurance and Im having to fight with them for it.
A constant user due to multiple internal problems due to cat accident, the girls here are amazing!
Staff are great. Always nice and helpful.
Great people very good to go to...
The staff there is very unprofessional and rude.
Good service
